Southern Fried Waffle Burger
This substantial brunch provides the flavours of an authentic dish from America’s deep south, popular on many menus these days. The mix of sweet and savoury of the maple bacon is complimented by the combination of KNORR American Chipotle BBQ Sauce and KNORR Hollandaise Sauce.

Preparation

Waffles
- Sift flour into a large bowl. Gradually add oil, buttermilk, eggs, salt and pepper, whisking until smooth. Set aside for 15 minutes.
- Cook waffle mixture in a waffle maker according to manufacturer’s instructions. Keep warm.

Chipotle Hollandaise
- Mix KNORR Hollandaise Sauce with KNORR American Chipotle BBQ Sauce until fully combined.

Maple Bacon
- Cook bacon in a large pan over medium heat until golden. Add maple syrup and toss to coat. Cook for a further 1-2 minutes until bacon starts to caramelise.

To Serve
- Deep fry hash browns and drain on paper towel.
- Fry eggs.
- Assemble waffle burger by arranging a waffle on each serving plate. Top with hash browns, bacon and egg and drizzle with hickory hollandaise. Top with remaining waffles.
