This addictive Singaporean dressing offers a vivid burst of flavour. Blending the sweetness of rock sugar honey sauce and a bold mala liquid seasoning, it is finished with a splash of lime juice and pairs exceptionally well with a variety of dishes, whether enhancing the freshness of Asian slaws with bold flavours or providing a captivating contrast to the mildness of tofu.

Preparation

  1. What you need

    • Select the number of serves you require for this recipe, and the quantity of ingredients will be automatically adjusted accordingly.
  2. Combine Ingredients

    • Heat the peanut oil in a saucepan, fry the ginger, star anise, cinnamon, eschalot, garlic, Sichuan peppercorns and chilli flakes until soft and fragrant.
    • Cool slightly and add KNORR Chinese Honey Soy, honey, KNORR Liquid Seasoning Concentrate, KNORR Thai Lime Powder and sesame oil.
  3. To Finish

    • Remove star anise and blend until smooth. Serve.
