This Malaysian-inspired dressing is crafted from a traditional rempah, a fragrant spice paste that blends red onion, ginger, lemongrass, garlic, turmeric powder and chilli with the distinctive zest of kaffir lime leaves. When combined with creamy HELLMANN'S Real Mayonnaise, it results in a versatile dressing that enhances salads and sandwiches and serves as a delightful dip.

Preparation

  1. What you need

    • Select the number of serves you require for this recipe, and the quantity of ingredients will be automatically adjusted accordingly.
  2. Paste and Mayonnaise

    • Heat the oil in a saucepan and add the onion, ginger, garlic, lemongrass, turmeric and KNORR Thai Sweet Chilli Jam. Cook over a medium heat, stirring for 3–4 minutes. Set aside to cool slightly.
    • In a medium bowl, mix the HELLMANN'S Real Mayonnaise, KNORR Liquid Seasoning, sugar and KNORR Thai Lime Powder.
  3. To Finish

    • Add the prepared paste (240g per 10 serves) to the mayonnaise mixture and stir well.
    • Cool completely and serve.
