A quality steak cut is best cooked simply to retain the natural flavour of the meat. This recipe sticks to that principle, adding a simple rosemary sauce and crumbed mushrooms as complements.

Preparation

  1. What you need

    • Select the number of serves you require for this recipe, and the quantity of ingredients will be automatically adjusted accordingly.
  2. Mash

    • Bring the milk to a boil, remove from heat, and whisk in KNORR Instant Mashed Potato Mix.
    • Once well combined, stir in HELLMANN'S Real Aioli.
  3. Sauce

    • Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Whisk in KNORR Rich Brown Gravy until smooth and thickened.
    • Add chopped rosemary to infuse. Keep warm.
  4. Mushrooms

    • Crumb the mushrooms with flour, eggs, and breadcrumb in that order.
    • Fry until golden and cooked through. Drain and set aside.
  5. Steak

    • Oil and season the steaks. Cook to preferred doneness on a hot chargrill.
  6. To Serve

    • Place the steak on a bed of garlic mash and top off with rosemary sauce and golden crumbed mushrooms.
