Meatballs are a popular dish in Aged Care. This recipe uses a beef and pork combination for more flavourful and moist meatballs.

Preparation

  1. What you need

    • Select the number of serves you require for this recipe, and the quantity of ingredients will be automatically adjusted accordingly.
  2. Meatballs

    • Combine the beef mince, pork mince, eggs, breadcrumbs, and dried oregano.
    • Roll into meatballs and cook in a combi oven at 180˚ C for 15–20 minutes.
  3. Sauce

    • Combine KNORR Italiana Pronto Napoli and basil.
    • Fold the sauce through the meatballs and return to the combi oven for another 10 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and sauce is warm.
  4. To Serve

    • Pour sauce and meatballs over spaghetti. Top with bocconcini and serve with crusty bread and side salad.
