Bolar blade used in this recipe is a great alternative to chuck and has plenty of flavour. For an interesting and delicious sauce twist, combine KNORR Rich Brown Gravy with KNORR American Chipotle BBQ Sauce.

Preparation

  1. Roast

    • Trim beef roast and brush with KNORR American Chipotle BBQ Sauce. Sprinkle generously with cracked black pepper. Place in a large gastronome with a head of garlic. Cook at 180 degree Celsius for 1 hour 10 minutes or until cooked to your liking. 
    • Once beef has finished cooking, cover and rest.
  2. Chipotle Gravy

    • Whilst beef is cooking, make up KNORR Rich Brown Gravy GF with 500 ml water and simmer for 2-3 minutes, adding extra KNORR American Chipotle BBQ Sauce. Keep warm. 
    • When the beef is cooked, remove roasted garlic and squeeze flesh out of cloves, crushing into gravy with a fork.
