Our Collaboration with Rainforest Alliance
Lipton is working with the Rainforest Alliance, an independent international conservation organisation to:
• Improve the crops, incomes and livelihoods of nearly one million tea workers in Africa.
• Help protect the environment by planting trees, conserving water and encouraging wildlife for the benefit of future generations.
• Reassure your customers that the tea they enjoy was produced by people who enjoy improved living conditions, decent wages and a better quality of life.
Already 50% of Lipton Yellow Label Tea and Lipton Quality Black Tea comes from Rainforest Alliance Certified™ farms.
By continuing our efforts, we aim to source all our tea from Rainforest Alliance Certified™ farms by 2015.
