PG Tips

PG Tips was first launched in the 1930's as a "Digestive" blend when tea was deemed to be an aid to digestion. After the second world war this description was contested by the UK government and the name PRE-GESTEE replaced it. The packaging bore the letters PG as identification and form that PG Tips was coined in 1950. This excellent blend continues its international popularity today.
